To dial a person’s number

To add a button for a person

Tap the person’s button. The picture will grow to fill the screen, then the iPhone will dial the number.

Tap an empty button and navigate to the person whose number you want to add.

To delete a button

To change a person’s picture

Swipe your finger down across the button you want to delete.

Swipe your finger up across the button for the person whose picture you want to change.

Swipe your finger left across the screen to get a new sheet of blank buttons.

If Friends' buttons are disappearing

There was a bug in Friends version 1.0 that would cause Friends to lose track of a button's data if the contact for the button were replaced by synching your iPhone or using MobileMe. This problem would cause buttons with question marks to appear for no apparent reason where previously there had been buttons with contacts and pictures.

If you are experiencing a problem where your buttons no longer have the pictures or numbers that you set before, you should update Friends to the latest version in the App Store.

This is a free update. You will not be charged.

You will need to enter your buttons one more time after this update, but after that you should have no problems. If you still encounter a problem after downloading Friends 1.2, you should report this as a bug so that we can find out what s causing your problem.
